At PRIME Downhole Manufacturing we leverage our combined industry experience and expertise of hardfacing and downhole tool mechanics to meet the needs of our customers by providing hard metal cladding (overlay) for numerous applications. 

PRIME Downhole employs a variety of processes to apply tungsten carbide overlay including:

We provide hard metal overlay for both new proprietary equipment by us or customer-provided goods.

PRIME Downhole is equipped to incorporate any and all types and configurations of carbide tiles, rounds, or serrated inserts into our hardfacing overlay, with the goal of meeting and exceeding customer requirements and expectations.

We do more than strike an arc with a rod. PRIME Downhole Manufacturing employs a variety of weld processes and materials to meet customers’ specific requirements. Our experienced team works closely with customers to identify material demands and develop and qualify weld procedures. We then provide the optimal choice for differing applications needing exceptional weld strength with high precision.
